This year Cheshunt Sea Cadets will move from Haileybury , its temporary home for the last year, to there new unit with new facilities at Havis Hall, Albury Ride, Cheshunt, once it has raised £120,000 via media fundraising and a recruitment campaign coupled with sponsors, grants and donations.
The cadets were onces again inspected on their full blues uniform.
This months inspectionwas very good and the uniform standards were high
This month saw Major Carol London area Marine officer, visit Cheshunt.
He spoke to all the cadets involving them in the work that is being done by staff and committee members of gaining a new Marine Detachment.
He told us everything we needed to do to be able to apply for the detachment and what it would mean for Cheshunts future.
